Accessing information held by the CAA

The CAA disclosures log lists information we have released which we believe may be of wider public interest.

Identifying the information you require

The Civil Aviation Authority is an open organisation that endeavours to make as much information available as possible.

The CAA has adopted the Model Publication Scheme set down by the Information Commissioner's Office and, in addition, the CAA guide to information provides a summary of the information which is available from the CAA about its statutory responsibilities, structure and functions, and advice about how that information can be obtained.

CAA publications and forms are made freely available in the Publications section of our website.

Your legal right of access to information is covered by the Freedom of Information Act 2000, the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 or, in the case of personal information, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018.

Before making a request for information under one of these access regimes please check if the information you require is already available through the CAA’s website.
