This page provides guidance to UK Part 66 licence holders that have been requested by an organisation or other National Aviation Authority (NAA) for the UK CAA to verify their licence details.

Pre-requisites

You must hold a UK Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.

You must contact the company or National Aviation Authority (NAA) to whom the verification is to be made to.

The company or NAA must email a request to the UK CAA to PLDverifications@caa.co.uk.

From 30 September 2024, verifications will no longer be provided to the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA). This is due to the fact the FAA does not require this information from the UK CAA.

Please contact the FAA for further information on what they require.

How do I apply?

Please complete the Verification of a Licence or exam online application form.

How long is it valid for?

The validity can range depending on the company or NAA we are verifying the licence details to.

How much does it cost?

The fee is £55.00.

Should you wish to apply for a verification to more than one company or NAA, an additional fee will be required.

The Scheme of Charges (Personnel licensing) provides further information.

How long will it take for my application to be processed?

We endeavour to process applications within 10 working days from date of receipt.
