Search for an aircraft mortgage

Any aircraft can be searched if you have the details of the aircraft type and serial number.

If you are planning to buy an aircraft, or make a loan against one, we advise you to conduct a search of the UK Register of Aircraft Mortgages beforehand. A search of the Register will reveal whether the aircraft is the subject of any registered mortgages.

Basic information on whether an aircraft is the subject of a registered mortgage is noted on the G-INFO search against each aircraft. But to get full information on any registered mortgages a mortgage search must be carried out.

Searches are carried out by us on request, and subject to the payment of a fee.

The Register does not provide information on liens or outstanding debts such as landing fees.

To request a mortgage search complete the CA350: Search of the UK Register of Aircraft Mortgages form. Once you have completed the form and saved a copy to your device you will then need submit this through the Application Form Submission Service by clicking on the button at the end of the form.

You will need a CAA Portal Account.

All Applications (per aircraft) are £42.00.

You do not need to send any further documents with your application.

The Register of Aircraft Mortgages is open between the hours of 10am and 4pm on working days. Searches can only be carried out during these periods.

Searches received outside of these hours will be carried out as soon as possible once the Register is open again.

We will aim to return the results of your search on the same day as your request is made, or the following day.

The search includes details of the registered owner, any mortgages entered on the UK Register of Aircraft Mortgages, the parties involved and the date and time of entry.

We will reply by e-mail with the results of the Mortgage Search.

Search is valid only at the date and time shown on the document.
