Aviation Regulatory Library

The Aviation Regulation Library contains the up to date consolidation of the individual Regulations, Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC), Guidance Material (GM) and, where appropriate, Certification Specifications (CS).

This consolidated material is available in two formats, as a webpage, with expandable elements of the regulation, AMC, GM and CS, and a PDF document, which sets out regulation with corresponding AMC, GM and CS in sequential order.

Web Browser Compatibility for Viewing the Aviation Regulatory Library

On some web browsers the numbering of paragraphs in the web version of the Aviation Regulatory Library displays incorrectly.

The Aviation Regulatory Library uses various levels of paragraph numbering such as:

  • a, b, c, …
  • 1, 2, 3, …
  • i, ii, iii, …
  • A, B, C, …

Web browsers which display incorrectly show every level of numbering as 1, 2, 3, … - an example is shown below.

If the numbering displays incorrectly you should try using a different web browser or view the pdf version instead.

The following browsers should display the numbering correctly:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Internet Explorer 11 and newer

The following browsers are known to display the numbering incorrectly:

  • Safari
  • DuckDuckGo

Web Browser Compatibility Examples

An example of the incorrectly displayed numbering is:

Screenshot of Regulation SFCL.315 where all three levels of paragraph numbering use 1, 2, 3.

The above text should display as:

Screenshot of Regulation SFCL.315 where the first level of paragraph numbering uses a, b, c; the second level of paragraph numbering uses 1, 2, 3 and the third level of paragraph numbering uses lower-case Roman numerals.
