In the seven years from 2018 to 2025 ‘loss of control in flight’ accidents and serious incidents accounted for 10% of all General Aviation (GA) accidents and serious incidents, 38% of all fatal and 19% of all serious injury accidents.

This guidance is part of the our Stay in Control safety campaign to raise awareness of loss of control issues and some of the ways to avoid an incident.
