Loss of control (LOC) is one of the leading safety issues in general aviation. In the last five years 'loss of control in flight' events made up 20% of all GA accidents, 44% of all fatalities and 55% of all serious injuries. The majority of these events occurred during the approach.

During 2020 we ran the Stay in Control safety campaign to raise awareness of LOC issues and some of the ways to avoid an incident. All the material we develop will be available on this page as it’s released.
