Modifications to a UK SORA-based Operational Authorisation

Applying for an update following a significant change.

Assimilated Regulation (EU) 2019/947 UAS.SPEC.030(2) requires a UAS Operator to apply for an update to their Operational Authorisation (OA) following any significant change to the operation.

Our publication CAP 722L sets out how to assess whether a potential modification is a significant change under UAS.SPEC.030(2) and therefore requires a new OA.

We have also published our UAS Modification Assessment Checklist to be used in line with CAP722L.
