UK Civil Aviation Regulations

These are published by the CAA on our UK Regulations pages. EU Regulations and EASA Access Guides published by EASA no longer apply in the UK. Our website and publications are being reviewed to update all references. Any references to EU law and EASA Access guides should be disregarded and where applicable the equivalent UK versions referred to instead.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) medical records system (Cellma) can be accessed as a service via the CAA Customer Portal. This online system has replaced all existing paper-based application forms and also allows applicants to view their own medical record and to track the progress of applications and referrals to the CAA.

There is a one page guide on how to register for a CAA customer portal account.

There is also information on how to use the medical records system in the Cellma applicant guide, which will take you through the steps for applying for a Class 1, Class 2, Class 3 and LAPL medical certificate or make a pilot medical declaration.
