2.22 It is advised that a suitable method of identifying the runway in use from the air is
put in place, if non radio traffic is expected to attend.
2.23 Suitable consideration should be made by the EO if a mixture of fixed wing and
rotorcraft are likely to attend the event, to ensure safe separation where it is
deemed necessary.
2.24 Gas-filled toy balloons when released are a potential hazard to aircraft and the
sale of such should not be permitted by the EO.
2.25 The use of drones by the public at events poses a possible risk to aircraft and their
unauthorised use should not be permitted.
