The CAA considers implementing a discrete conspicuity SSR code for gliders.

The CAA is not currently intending to mandate a conspicuity squawk for gliders, noting that they can currently voluntarily squawk 7000 in order to be more conspicuous. As the co-sponsor of the AMS, the CAA is actively promoting the benefits of EC, this is highlighted in Part 2 of the AMS, delivery elements UK-AM/7 and UK-AM/9.
