Free Running Explosive Detection Dogs (FREDDs) are certified under the National Aviation Security Programme (NASP) to deliver screening of cargo in the UK. FREDDs and their handlers are certified as an operational pairing and may only be deployed to screen cargo in these certified pairs. Dog and handler pairs are subject to regular quality oversight to ensure they remain at the required standard.

Updates to this list will be made every time additional FREDDs are certified to be deployed operationally, or should a FREDD and handler pair be suspended or removed from operational deployment. This list should therefore be considered complete, accurate and current.

Application requests and/or questions regarding FREDDs certifications, as well as any general queries, should be directed to the CAA at Fredds@caa.co.uk.
