Air Traffic Services Safety Requirements

Amendment 1/2019 updates CAP 670’s overview of requirements and the regulatory framework as well as requirements and guidance for Air Traffic Services, Communication, Navigation, Surveillance, Meteorological and Information and Alerting Systems, as well Air Traffic Control (ATC) unit staffing and duty hours.

This amendment became effective on 1 August 2019.

Supplementary Amendments (SAs) to CAP 670 may be issued ahead of routine amendments to introduce new content, a change to existing instructions or to re-emphasise an existing instruction. CAP 670 should be read in conjunction with current Supplementary Amendments (SAs).
