The Civil Aviation Authority hereby renders valid, for the purpose of operating an aircraft on the United Kingdom “G” register
within and outside of UK airspace, such Part-FCL pilot licences that was issued in accordance with Commission Regulation
(EU) 1178/2011, as adopted in the European Union, Islandic, Norwegian and Swiss Legislation at the time the holder of the
licence exercises the privileges of the licence. by virtue of Official Record Series 4, General Exemption E1453.

How will this be applied:
The United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) renders valid, for the purpose of operating an aircraft on the United
Kingdom “G” register outside of United Kingdom airspace, any Part-FCL pilot licence that was issued in accordance with
Commission Regulation (EU) 1178/2011, and that are in full compliance with Annex 1 of the Chicago Convention. prior to 1
January 2021 by the competent authority of any state listed below, and which continues to be effective on or after 1 January
2021 by virtue of Part 3 of Schedule 8 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018.
