Notwithstanding the development of ICAO SARPs for RPAS that will drive the need for
RPAS C2 regulatory activities for certified RPAS operations, the CAA also recognises the
need to progress a work programme in this area as it enables airspace modernisation to
support BVLOS RPAS and in the longer term, AAM and HAPS operations.
