ATOL Criteria for an application for and grant of, or a variation to, an ATOL: fitness, competence and Accountable Person

This document is a guide to the CAA's policy on the fitness and competence criteria it applies to ATOL holders and applicants. It is also a guide to what the CAA expects of an Accountable Person. It sets out the broad framework within which decisions are made by the CAA. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of the requirements which will be applied to an individual ATOL holder. This document replaces the previous document dated September 2014.
