This exemption allows microlight aeroplanes to land or take off in the UK without being subject to the requirement to hold a valid noise certificate. This exemption has been issued to enable microlight owners and manufacturers to benefit from the deregulatory measure before the ESO and ANO are amended.
This ORS4 is now revoked. It has been superseded by ORS4 No.1644.
