The Aircrew Regulation (Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1178/2011 (as amended)) laying down the European rules for aircrew licensing came into force on 8 April 2012. The United Kingdom, pursuant to article 12(7) of the Regulation, has provided the Commission with an updated notification of the derogations that it intends to apply within the territory of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and of the related implementation programme for the period 8 April 2016 to 8 April 2018. The details of the United Kingdom’s use of the derogations is set out in this record.
