Consultation Reply Document: Legislation for new types of Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft
The CAA, sponsored by the Department for Transport, has consulted on the proposed regulatory changes needed to accommodate the safe use of new types of VTOL aircraft in the UK. These proposals were set out in CAP2367A-E, covering Complex-Motor Powered Aircraft (CMPA), continuing airworthiness, pilot licensing and flight operations regulations. Following this consultation, the CAA has published a Consultation Reply Document outlining the responses received and our proposed way forward.
