Progressive Airspace Design: Guidance for Airspace Around UK Aerodromes

This document provides guidance to help airspace change sponsors design proportionate, risk-based solutions around UK aerodromes. It explains how different approaches can be applied to achieve an acceptable level of safety performance while supporting operational flexibility and equitable access. Developed in line with the Airspace Modernisation Strategy, the guidance includes practical considerations and decision-making tools to assist sponsors during the airspace change process.
