Airspace Architecture Concept of Operations for Enabling BVLOS Operations
The Airspace Architecture Concept of Operations (ConOps) describes how UK airspace could evolve to enable routine Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) drone operations alongside existing airspace users. Developed as part of the Future Air Traffic Management and Air Navigation Services (Future ATM/ANS) programme, the ConOps outlines the operational concepts, technical architecture, scenarios and enabling technologies required to support integrated, scalable and risk-based drone operations. The accompanying explainer provides an accessible overview of the programme, architecture and future vision for industry and stakeholders.
We have published also Airspace Architecture for Future Operations: Explainer – Concept of Operations for Enabling BVLOS as a supporting document.
