A list of confirmed dates for exams is available on our online e-exam system. When you log in and book an exam you will be able to choose from one of these dates.

The timetable below is a guide to dates on which you may be able to sit your exam. Some dates may be subject to change.

All CAA exams are taken at specific places at specific times. See the timetable below for more details. Venues are available across the UK and overseas.

'Sittings' and 'sessions'

A 'sitting' is a date range (e.g. 6 - 9 January) in which exam 'sessions' can be booked. A 'session' can last between 30 minutes and 2 hours. You can choose to be examined on any subject within a session as long as the session is long enough.

Exam timetables

If attending an examination within the premises of your own training organisation (ATO), please ensure that you comply with any local policies in addition to all CAA rules and procedures.
