CAA staff periodically deliver presentations on key elements of aviation security as part of private sector training
courses, and also to inward delegations and public / industry events.
We help to ensure the fair and equitable interpretation and application of regulation, widen understanding of its
drivers, and improve its effective delivery.
We are responsible for:
The CAA is the industry point of contact for requests for the approval of new aviation security training courses,
and makes recommendations to DfT as to whether a course is suitable for such approval.
