Background
CAA UK-EU Transition Decision No. 1 adopted a form of Acceptable Means of Compliance
(“AMC”) as the means by which the requirements in Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011 as retained
(and amended in UK domestic law) under the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (“UK Reg
(EU) No 1178/2011”) could be met.

The type rating training course shall include the mandatory training elements for the relevant type as defined in the operational suitability data established in accordance with Annex I (Part 21) to Regulation (EU) No 748/2012.
