g) “FSTD Operator” identifies, for the UKCAA, the organisation directly responsible to the UKCAA, for
requesting and maintaining the qualification of a particular FSTD and which has to comply with UK
Regulation (EU) No. 1178 /2011 and its Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC) and Guidance
Material (GM).

h) “FSTD Qualification Level” means the level of compliance based on the technical capability of the
FSTD as determined by an evaluation of the FSTD against the established technical evaluation criteria
as defined in the applicable requirements.
