In order to remedy congestion at
Heathrow Airport, HAL has set out a preliminary plan for the construction of a new runway
at Heathrow Airport that would expand Heathrow’s flight capacity from 480,000 to 740,000
thereby allowing current and forecast unmet demand to be served.
