Government support for the development of a 3rd runway and capacity expansion at
Heathrow airport.

This advice will comprise:
Views from the CAA on how well, in the CAA’s opinion, Heathrow
Airport Limited (HAL) has engaged with and responded to the airline
community on the appropriate scope, design and costing of new
runway capacity at Heathrow airport; and
If required, support from the CAA in analysing technical responses
to the government’s draft Airports National Policy Statement
(Airports NPS) consultation, where the CAA has access to technical
expertise not readily available to the DfT.
