UK Civil Aviation Regulations

These are published by the CAA on our UK Regulations pages. EU Regulations and EASA Access Guides published by EASA no longer apply in the UK. Our website and publications are being reviewed to update all references. Any references to EU law and EASA Access guides should be disregarded and where applicable the equivalent UK versions referred to instead.

The generic UK Light Aircraft Maintenance Programme (LAMP) ended in September 2016. All aircraft that currently use CAA LAMP should either have transitioned, ELA 1(operating privately) or transition at the next Airworthiness Review, but in any case no later than 24 March 2021. This leaflet explains how to establish an appropriate replacement maintenance programme.
