CAP 716 Issue 2 provides guidance material in support of the human factors requirements in EASA Part 145 (previously amendment 5 to JAR 145). This document updates information previously included in CAP 716 Issue 1, and includes additional guidance, in particular on human factors training, much of which is based on industry experience in implementing human factors and error management programmes since the new requirements were introduced in January 2003.
