Anne Heal appointed as new non-executive director at the UK Civil Aviation Authority

The UK Civil Aviation Authority has today confirmed the appointment of Anne Heal as a new non-executive director to its Board.

Anne Heal brings more than twenty years of experience in regulation, governance and strategy across a range of regulated sectors. During her executive career she held senior leadership roles at BT Group and Openreach, specialising in regulatory affairs and corporate strategy.

She currently holds a portfolio of non-executive and regulatory decision-making appointments, including as Chair of Market Operator Services Limited, Independent Non-Executive Director at Elexon and Deputy Chair of the Office of Rail and Road.

The appointment supports the Civil Aviation Authority's commitment to effective governance, consumer protection and public accountability across UK aviation and aerospace.
