Autopilots and Electric Trim

This new Safety Sense Leaflet highlights the safe use of autopilot and electric trim systems in GA aircraft, including the management of trim runaway events, which have contributed to several fatal accidents. It emphasises system knowledge, correct operation, pilot familiarisation, and occurrence reporting to help manage associated risks.
