UK CAA Hydrogen Challenge Regulations Relevant at Aerodromes Utilising Hydrogen and Infographic

The Civil Aviation Authority is publishing its UK CAA Hydrogen Challenge Regulations Relevant at Aerodromes Utilising Hydrogen and Infographic.

This report and infographic has been commissioned from the Health and Safety Executive by the Civil Aviation Authority to aid aerodromes in their potential transition to hydrogen powered flight. It signposts regulations that would need to be considered by duty holders in ensuring safe installation and operation of hydrogen on sites, although it remains the duty holders’ responsibility to ensure all relevant regulations are complied with. Where available, Approved Codes of Practice have also been indicated.

In addition, the report has collated many codes, standards and guidance related to equipment and activities that may be required as a result of the installation of hydrogen infrastructure.
