A Review of Evidence: Passenger Exposure to Peanut and Tree Nut Allergens on Airlines Executive Summary

The CAA commissioned the Health & Safety Laboratory (HSL) to undertake an evidence review of the allergic response to inhaled food allergens in the environment, with a particular focus on peanuts and tree nuts.

The CAA has published the executive summary of the report of this evidence review. We hope that an article based on the report will be published in the scientific literature in 2019, following which we will publish the full report.
