Portable Electronic Device Generated Electro-magnetic Fields on Board a Large Transport Aeroplane

The purpose of this publication is to discuss the most recent thinking on the use of Portable Electronic Devices on large transport aircraft. It includes the results of a study that was conducted to predict the electro-magnetic interference levels that could exist on such aircraft in 2010. This publication also includes recommendations for further investigation and action, which should be taken to apply to all aircraft, not just large transport aeroplanes.
