Please note that if you are making an application on the basis of an ICAO licence, you will need to make an application for a Third Country Verification (application form SRG2142) and the UK CAA will need to have received the Verification before we can process your counter application.

Any pilot who holds an e-licensing portal account and is making a new e-licensing application, must ensure that all documents for the application have been correctly uploaded onto the portal in the correct sections and the application has been submitted prior to their appointment. Failure to do so will result in your appointment being cancelled and your application being pended.

Separate appointments are also available for applicants who require support, or a 'checking' service, for an application being delivered to the CAA in person. These appointments must be pre-booked using the same process as a fast-track service. As part of the 'checking' service, a Licensing Officer will perform an initial review your application to ensure that you have included all of the relevant paperwork and documentation. It is possible that you may still be asked to provide further evidence once your application has been fully assessed after submission.

These appointments can also be used for general Flight Crew or Part 66 Licensing queries. However, queries of a technical nature must be submitted in writing to fclweb@caa.co.uk or eldweb@caa.co.uk respectively.
