A six-week public consultation on CAP 482, British Civil Airworthiness Requirements (BCAR) Section S (Small Light Aeroplanes), was published in July 2022 and sought comment on the proposed changes to CAP 482 as a result of the 2021 revised microlight aeroplane definition.
After consideration of the comments received, some of the original changes proposed in the consultation were amended and our rationale is explained within this document.
