ORS4 No.1279: Small Unmanned Aircraft with a Mass Greater than 7kg – Operations above 400ft within Controlled Airspace and/or Aerodrome Traffic Zones
It reinstates the ability for an air traffic control unit, having already permitted a flight of a small UAS (mass greater than 7kg) within the controlled airspace or the aerodrome traffic zone that it is responsible for, to permit that small unmanned aircraft to fly in excess of 400 feet above the surface within that same airspace.

CAP1861A: Detect and avoid ecosystem for BVLOS in non-segregated airspace
To achieve Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations in non-segregated airspace the policy and guidance for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), CAP722, outlines the need for a technical capability at least as good as ‘see and avoid’ – a Detect & Avoid capability. The purpose of this guide is to build on the concept of a Detect & Avoid Ecosystem, and to provide a framework to support the development and eventual approval of a proposed DAA solution. This publication annexes CAP1861 BVLOS in Non-Segregated Airspace – Fundamentals and Terminology.
