The CAA considers publishing a list of established drone training locations in the UK AIP.
CAA latest update
The CAA is currently undertaking a review of UK VFR charts to assess what information is suitable for presentation to pilots.
This work also involves consideration of the UK AIP ENR 5 (Air navigation warnings). A meeting scheduled in Oct 2025 for the Aeronautical Information Management and Airspace Regulation teams to consider the inclusion of the UKAB recommendation.
We will take account of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices, Eurocontrol airspace design guidance, UK aviation regulations and guidance, and CAP1711 Airspace Modernisation Strategy.
