Non-registration of aircraft

Information for aircraft owners.

If you are trying to register an aircraft abroad which was manufactured in the UK or has passed through UK ownership, it is likely you will need to provide confirmation that the aircraft is not currently registered in the UK.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) can provide a Certificate of Non-registration for this purpose.

Under the 1944 Chicago Convention, an aircraft can only be registered in one state at any one time.
