UK Civil Aviation Regulations

These are published by the CAA on our UK Regulations pages. EU Regulations and EASA Access Guides published by EASA no longer apply in the UK. Our website and publications are being reviewed to update all references. Any references to EU law and EASA Access guides should be disregarded and where applicable the equivalent UK versions referred to instead.

This document sets out additional policy, guidance and Acceptable Means of Compliance to be considered for approval by the CAA for the establishment of Instrument Approach Procedures (IAPs) to aerodromes without an Approach Control service and/or with a non-instrument runways. CAP 2304 provides greater clarity on the safety requirements and means of compliance to support the GNSS phase 2 programme as directed by the Secretary of State and, therefore supersedes CAP1122.
