The CAA is seeking feedback from industry stakeholders on the information provided in the main documents that comprise the Transition Altitude Consultation Pack. The main documents are the Joint Concept of Operations for Inside and Outside of Controlled Airspace (CONOPs), the State Safety Assurance Report (SSAR) and the Nominal Vertical Separation Minima (Nominal VSM).

The CONOPs document contains the detailed procedures being proposed for the implementation of an 18,000ft TA across the London and Scottish Flight Information Regions. Stakeholders are requested to study the CONOPs in detail in order to gain an understanding of what is being proposed and to enable appropriate responses to be made to the consultation.
