UK Civil Aviation Regulations

These are published by the CAA on our UK Regulations pages. EU Regulations and EASA Access Guides published by EASA no longer apply in the UK. Our website and publications are being reviewed to update all references. Any references to EU law and EASA Access guides should be disregarded and where applicable the equivalent UK versions referred to instead.

Under Regulation 6(5) of the Civil Aviation Authority Regulations 1991 (extract attached at Annex A), any person who has failed any test or examination which must be passed before being granted or exercising the privileges of a personnel licence, may request that the CAA reviews the conduct of the test or examination to determine whether it was properly conducted.

This publication provides guidance on the procedure.
