These are published by the CAA on our UK Regulations pages. EU Regulations and EASA Access Guides published by EASA no longer apply in the UK. Our website and publications are being reviewed to update all references. The Air Navigation Order 2016 as amended empowers the CAA to approve IFPs design before their notification in the UK Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP).

IFPs are regulated in the UK through the oversight of Approved Procedure Design Organisations (APDOs) and the approval of IFPs design before their implementation in the UK Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP).

The specific requirements for the development and approval of IFP designs, and the delivery of safeguarding services are published in this publication.
