The purpose of this policy statement is to detail requirements and provide guidance regarding the approval of air traffic services (ATS) units (ATSUs) seeking to provide ATS within controlled airspace (CAS), where such units are not notified as the controlling authority for such airspace. This policy statement supersedes that issued on 27 April 2016.
