Middle East and Cyprus travel advice

As a result of the ongoing situation in the Middle East and Cyprus, many flights to and from the region are cancelled.

In Autumn 2015, we provided advice to the Secretary of State for Transport on issues relating to the extension of the Air Traffic Services licence notice period. This followed a formal request from the Department on 22 June 2015 under section 16 of the Civil Aviation Act 1982 that the CAA provides further evidence and analysis to support a decision on potential changes to the duration and/or structure of the Air Traffic Services licence. Our advice, together with additional financial analysis undertaken by consultants Europe Economics, is published below.
