The purpose of this Supplementary Amendment (SA) is the introduction of the requirement for the Restricted Radio Operators Certificate of Competence (ROCC) – Flying Display Director (FDD) which allows safety critical messages to be passed by the FDD to display aircraft in a timely manner in accordance with the Wireless Telegraphy Act (WTA) and Article 203 of the Air Navigation Order 2016 (as amended).
