This publication provides the criteria applied by the CAA in assessing the standards of offshore helicopter landing areas for worldwide use by helicopters registered in the United Kingdom.
This first amendment to the ninth edition incorporates a number of minor updates throughout the document and introduces the Master Minimum Helideck Equipment List (MMHEL) in a new Appendix L. The MMHEL provides a reference document for dealing with unserviceability of safety critical equipment related to the operation of offshore helidecks.
