These flow diagrams have been produced in order for examiners and instructors applying for a UK Part-FCL to understand the requirements for the endorsement of privileges when converting from an EASA licence. This is applicable for both ex-UK CAA pilot’s that have transferred out and EU pilots obtaining their first UK licence.
Process for licence/certificate holders with instructor privileges
Applicability: The licence/certificate holder has instructor privileges on their EASA licence
- Applicant has Instructor privileges previously held on a UK issued licence or Instructor privileges gained since transfer
- For instructor privileges granted under FCL.900(c)
Process for licence/certificate holders with examiner privileges
Applicability: The licence/certificate holder has examiner privileges on their EASA licence
- Applicant has Examiner privileges previously held on a UK issued licence
- Examiner privileges gained since transfer not previously held on a UK Licensing Certificate
- For previous holders of a UK Examiner Certificate issued in accordance with FCL.1000(c). (Individual holds non-EASA licence such as FAA)
Note: if you have not previously held a UK Licensing Certificate issued in accordance with FCL.1000(c), the standard FCL.1000(c) application process applies.
