CAP 2261: Flylogix BVLOS Sandbox Report

It is designed to share what was learnt during the project, to assist industry with their future engagement with the CAA.Flylogix, in partnership with NATS and TotalEnergies, joined the Sandbox to trial the use of a Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) flying Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) to inspect Offshore Oil and Gas installations within a Temporary Danger Area (TDA), in order to build an evidence base for an Operating Safety Case (OSC) for commercial operations in non-segregated airspace.

ORS4 No.1334: Small Unmanned Aircraft – SUA Operator Registration Requirements for ARPAS UK Members

General Exemption which temporarily exempts from the requirement to register as an SUA operator for members of ARPAS UK until 16 December 2019, at which point they must register with the CAA Drone and Model Aircraft Registration service.
