In this fictional incident poor pre flight planning misses a NOTAM regarding unserviceable glideslope at the destination. Distracted by a business partner the business jet pilot then misses cues from ATIS, other aircraft and ATC and finds himself getting behind the aircraft. Committed to make a meeting a rushed steep descent almost ends in catastrophe.

A CAA Flight Examiner and a TRE from FlightSafety International discuss the causal factors.
