This document provides guidance for applicants and examiners for the Instrument Rating (A) Skill Test (IRT). It also contains guidance for the En-Route Instrument Rating Skills Test (With effect from October 2026 the EIR ST will be removed and revert to Revalidation/Renewal Proficiency Checks only). Any changes to this implementation date will be communicated out to industry appropriately,
